Scanner Guide
Check-in thousands of attendees in minutes. Offline ready.
1. Accessing the Scanner
You don't need expensive hardware. Any smartphone with a camera works.
- 1Log in to Tikxz on your mobile browser.
- 2Navigate to Dashboard > Select Event > Scanner.
- 3Allow camera permissions when prompted.
2. Scan Results
Valid Ticket
Screen flashes GREEN. The user is authorized to enter.
Status: CHECKED_IN
Time: 10:42 AM
Time: 10:42 AM
Invalid / Used
Screen flashes RED. Deny entry immediately.
Error: ALREADY_SCANNED

Troubleshooting
Scanner camera is black?
Ensure you have granted camera permissions to your browser. Refresh the page and try again. On iOS, check Settings > Safari > Camera.
Blurry Scanning?
Tap the screen to focus. Ensure there is adequate lighting on the attendee's phone screen. Ask them to increase their brightness.
No Internet?
The scanner works best online to sync duplicates. However, it caches ticket data locally so you can continue scanning offline. Sync will happen once connection is restored.
